This Is Very Unsettling.
Do you ever feel a looming threat but can’t put your finger on what it is?
I have gone to bed extremely unsettled in the past three days. The anger has subsided, but has been replaced with fear.
It feels like I’m 13 again and I’m dreading going to school for fear of there being an argument between me and my ‘friends’ and me being ostracised for a few days, again.
It’s not life threatening, but it’s very uncomfortable for fear of the hurt and sadness I might feel emotionally if a certain set of events plays out.
Is this anxiety?
I’ll take five deep breaths and focus on what my five senses are aware of. Touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing.
I hope to drift off to sleep after.
